It is a third generation gamily business owned and managed by Mr Gebhard R. Huckfeldt. He has improved the product and production process over the years to maintain a unique market dominance in the niche market segment for upsclae service deli products. His latest innovation was to develop a process to make it possible to use hog collagen instead of beef collgen in Hukki Casings.

Hukki Casing can add an unique presentation to traditional deli products while maximizing processing times and efficiency. Products by Hukki such as "honey comb", "Hitch", "Wound Around" and more give that old world appealing look. Both the built in twine and netting on Hukki casings can be produced with different colours and materials. 

Traditional Hukki V and VFX blend the stength of textile fabric with the versatility of a thin collagen film. The result is a casing which provides maximum capacity when stuffing with excellent size control. These casings are perfect for slicing since it can hold heavy weight for slicing logs. It is also great for moulded products since it defends the mould from detioriating the casing.
